Our Sierra Mar Grenache is grown at the cool-climate margins of where the varietal can grow. Typically expressed with fresh strawberries, rhubarb, and a distinct sense of earthiness, this is one of our most limited production wines we produce.

Each vine hand-tended every 12 days by our family

Night harvested for stable grape chemistry and preserve freshness

Hand-sorted, fully destemmed, 18 - 26 day cold soak

Free-run juice aged 10 months in neutral French oak

Bottled unfined and unfiltered, rested one year before release

Sierra Mar Vineyard

Sierra Mar is planted across a range of elevations, varieties and clones, giving the vineyard remarkable diversity and complexity. Portions of the site rise above the fog line, where greater sun exposure and cool mountain conditions produce small, concentrated berries with natural structure. The result is a vineyard that offers both depth and freshness. Our Grenache block is planted to heritage Alban cuttings.
