Sierra Mar is planted across a range of elevations, varieties and clones, giving the vineyard remarkable diversity and complexity. Portions of the site rise above the fog line, where greater sun exposure and cool mountain conditions produce small, concentrated berries with natural structure. The result is a vineyard that offers both depth and freshness. Our Viognier comes from a small block at one of the very highest elevation points of the vineyard.
