2023 Sierra Mar Vineyard Syrah

Sensual and powerful, the 2023 is the proverbial “iron fist in a velvet glove.” Purple flowers, sweet blackberry fruit, turned earth, game, eucalyptus and iron unfold into a wine of supreme, perfectly calibrated opulence. The tannins are masterfully integrated—present and upright yet yielding and fluid. The Sierra Mar Syrah is a thing of beauty. What a wine!"
