Join our own, Adam Franscioni, with other growers and winemakers across the Santa Lucia Highlands as they describe 2025 as a long, cool, and unusually paced season that brought slow ripening, fast fermentations, and remarkably clean fruit despite some rain pressure. Many noted delayed sugar development, bigger berries, and unique acid profiles, yet praised the purity, color, and promising flavors already emerging. Compared with the more classic 2024 season, 2025 delivered extended hangtime and more elegant character that has the region already excited about the wines to come.
