2006 Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir
Grapes for our 2006 Garys’ Vineyard Pinot Noir were harvested on September 30th at 27 brix and on October 12th and 14th at 27.3 brix and spent 18-21 days on the skins before being pressed  to French oak barrels for 11months aging. The wine was racked once prior to being bottled unfiltered and unfined on August 20th, 2007.

2006 Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
Grapes for Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir were harvested between September 26th and October 20th from the Rosella’s, Garys’ and Pisoni Vineyards and spent 18-21 days on the skins before being pressed  to French oak barrels for 11 months aging. The wine was racked once prior to bottling unfiltered and unfined on August 20th, 2007.

2007 Fall Release Tasting Notes

2005 Garys' Vineyard Pinot Noir
Grapes for Garys’ Vineyard Pinot Noir were harvested on September 23rd and 26th at 27.1 bricks and spent 18-21 days on the skins before being pressed to French oak barrels for 11 months aging. The wine was racked once prior to bottling unfiltered and unfined in August 2006.

Cooperage: 100% French, 60% new (Francois Freres, Remond)
Tasting Notes: Medium bodied and angular in it’s youth, our 05 Garys’ Vineyard Pinot Noir shows lush plum color, creamy, blackberry and black cherry notes on the nose and layers of dark fruit, cinnamon and rhubarb on the palate. This is a very elegant wine that will only improve with cellaring for up to five years.

2005 Pisoni Vineyard Pinot Noir
Grapes for our 2005 Pisoni Vineyard Pinot Noir were harvested on September 26th at 27.8 brix and spent 18-21 days on the skins before being pressed to French oak barrels for 11months aging. The wine was racked once prior to being bottled unfiltered and unfined in August 2006.

Tasting Notes: Immediately gratifying, our 05 Pisoni Vineyard Pinot Noir shows vibrant color, classic Pisoni earth, black cherry and minerality on the nose followed by lush, bright and well rounded flavors on the mouth. Drink now or hold for up to five years.

2005 Rosella's Vineyard Syrah
Grapes for our 2005 Rosella’s Vineyard Syrah were harvested on October 28th at 27 brix and spent 18-21days on the skins before being pressed to French oak barrels for 14 months aging. The wine was racked once and bottled unfiltered and unfined in January 2007.

Tasting Notes: A beautifully harmonious and deeply flavored wine, our 05 Rosella’s Vineyard Syrah shows fresh, lively aromas with touches of citrus and earth . On the palate, round, creamy, lush-blackberry flavors abound. A great food wine, drink now or hold for up to five years.

2005 Garys' Vineyard Syrah
This is our first bottling of Garys’ Vineyard Syrah. The grapes were harvested on November 3, at 28 brix and spent 18-21days on the skins before being pressed to French oak barrels for 14 months aging. The wine was racked once and bottled unfiltered and unfined in January , 2007.

Tasting Notes: Our '05 Garys’ Vineyard Syrah is a beautifully structured, elegant wine revealing lush blackberry, plum , blueberry and subtle mint and rubbed spice on the nose. On the palate, fresh, silky and generous flavors are balanced by a good backbone of acidity. Another tremendous food wine that can be opened upon release or cellared for up to five years.

2005 Santa Lucia Highlands Syrah
Grapes for our 2005 Santa Lucia Highlands Syrah were harvested on October 26 and November 3 at 27.5 brix and spent 18-21days on the skins before being pressed to French oak barrels for 14 months aging. The wine was racked once and bottled unfiltered and unfined in January of 2007.
